QT9™ Security Features
QT9™ has strong user level security features that allow administrators to appoint department managers, approvers,
calibrators, and system administrators. Users can be assigned as approvers for department documents, ISO Actions (corrective
actions, preventive actions, and non-conforming products).
You can rest assured about your data that you are placing in the QT9™ ISO management system as well. Documents are
stored using obfuscated names and directories. Record and transactional data is stored in a protected database.
In addition to these shared security features,
Hosted QT9™ Web includes the following
additional security features to help protect against network and world wide web threats:

SSL Certificate – All Hosted QT9™ web applications will be first and foremost protected by a SSL certificate
giving a satisfactory level of basic encryption. Our SSL certificates are provided by Digicert Security Services (www.digicert.com).

Data Security – All data will be kept outside of the common internet root folder (www root folder) thus blocking
anyone on the internet from directly accessing the database.

File Security – All files uploaded into QT9™ Web are given 2 levels of security. First they are given a unique
ambiguous name of 12-15 characters in length. Then they are encrypted to add the last and final layer of
security. (This level of encryption prevents even server administrator users from opening the files.)

Private Software Initialization – Each company using the
Hosted QT9™ Web will receive a
unique username password combination that will not be reused again for any other future or present subscription
installations.

Full Disaster Recovery – All sites and their data are backed up daily to 2 separate off site servers
and 2 separate tape drives in addition to local backups. This ensues that you will be up and running with your most recent
data even when disaster strikes.

Individual Site Resources – All site installations are kept completely separate and disconnected from any
other installation or resource ICS offers. This ensures that your software can only access your data and files. Thus making your
site more secure and robust
