Software Quality Control Specialist

Job Description

QT9 Software is celebrating 20 years! We are seeking a Software Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure our QMS and ERP products meet established quality standards and requirements. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, a thorough understanding of quality control processes and procedures, and interest in a Software Developer career path.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, relevant field, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Quality Control environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485 Quality Standards preferred
  • Manufacturing and software testing experience are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be flexible and adaptable; no task is too small

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of assigned product modules and processes to identify deviations from established standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers to resolve quality-related issues. Contact customers with resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, including test results and corrective actions taken.
  • Participate in product validation prior to release 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, relevant field, or equivalent work experience

Salary

$48,000-$65,000/year
