QT9 Software is partnering with QBuild Software to expand the engineering integration capabilities available through QT9 ERP.

Through the partnership, QT9 ERP will gain new connectivity with manufacturers’ computer-aided design (CAD), product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) environments through QBuild’s CADLink technology.

The integration will give manufacturers a more direct way to bring bills of materials (BOMs), item information and other engineering data into QT9 ERP without repeatedly entering the same information across separate systems. Engineering teams will also be able to compare information from their design environment with records in QT9 ERP before updates are made.

By connecting engineering information more directly with ERP, QT9 customers will be able to improve data consistency between product design and the purchasing, inventory and production processes that depend on it.

The new integration will allow QT9 ERP users to work more closely with engineering data originating in CAD, PDM and PLM environments.

Engineering teams will be able to view QT9 item and BOM information alongside data from their engineering systems, review differences and make updates before information is saved back to QT9 ERP.
